BROWSER SETTINGS
CHROME
Click on the settings icon in the browser toolbar:

  • Select Settings.
  • Click on view advanced settings.
  • In the privacy section, click on the content settings button.
  • In the cookies section, you can change the following settings:
    ◦ Delete cookies.
    ◦ Block cookies by default.
    ◦ Allow cookies by default.
    ◦ Set exceptions for cookies from certain websites or domains.

FIREFOX
Click on the tools button, then on options.

  • Click on the privacy tab.
  • In the retention rules section, select use custom settings for history.
  • Check the accept cookies box and click exceptions to choose which websites are always or never allowed to install cookies on your terminal.

MICROSOFT EDGE
To personalize the cookie settings for a website :

  • In the Microsoft Edge menu, click on tools, then internet options.
  • Click on the privacy tab, then click on Sites.
  • In the website address field, type the full address (URL) of the website whose privacy settings you want to customize.
  • To allow cookies from the specified website to be stored on your computer, click allow.
  • To prevent the specified website's cookies from being saved on your computer, click on refuse.
  • Repeat the previous two steps for each website to be blocked or allowed.
  • When you have finished, click OK twice.

OPERA
Select preferences, advanced and then cookies.

  • The cookie preferences allow you to control how Opera handles cookies. The default setting is to accept all cookies.
  • Accept cookies:
    ◦ All cookies are accepted (default).
  • Accept only those of the visited site:
    ◦ Third party cookies, from a domain outside the one I visit, are refused.
  • Never accept cookies:
    ◦ All cookies are refused.

SAFARI

  • Go to preferences, then click on the privacy tab, and on set cookies.
