In France, referral and competence centres with the necessary expertise have been set up to manage patients with NF1 in a specialised manner.
They offer:
- An appropriate diagnosis and follow-up adapted to everyone.
- Available treatments on the market or, sometimes, as investigational products (therapeutic trials).
The European ERN GENTURIS network allows patients to find the different referral or competence centres across Europe.
